Mobile Care Audiology is available to all nursing home residents. For those eligible for Medicaid, the services provided are fully reimbursed at no additional expense to the resident, responsible party or the long-term care facility. 

We take into consideration the resident’s specific needs when determining treatment plans, also recognizing the cognitive or physical limitations one may have.

It is reported that there is a clear relationship between hearing loss and dementia. Hearing loss tends to be statistically more apparent in nursing home residents and the elderly. The more severe the hearing loss, the more likely a long-term care resident is to have dementia.
